40m3 Camplas GRP Chemical Bulk Storage Tank
The Camplas GRP chemical bulk storage tanks are the trusted choice for industries needing safe, long-lasting, and reliable chemical storage solutions. Designed with advanced materials and decades of expertise, these tanks are perfect for storing liquids like UAN (Urea Ammonium Nitrate) fertilisers and other industrial chemicals.
Why choose Camplas GRP Tanks?
- Unmatched Strength - made using GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), a material that combines fibreglass with resin to create a product 20 times stronger than polyethylene (plastic). This strength prevents cracking caused by environmental stress, a common issue with weaker materials.
- One-Piece Construction - Each tank is moulded in one solid piece, meaning there are no joints or seam below the liquid level. This eliminates weak points and ensures there's no risk of leaks
- Long-Lasting Design - The inner surface of the tank is smooth and corrosion-resistant, ensuring it can handle harsh chemicals without degrading over time.
Safe and Reliable Storage
High Safety Factor
Each tank is built with a safety margin of 8:1. This means it's designed to withstand pressures far beyond typical operating conditions, providing extra peace of mind.
UV-Resistant
Exposure to sunlight won't weaken these tanks. They're specially designed to resist UV rays, so they stay strong even in outdoor environments.
Built for Heavy Liquids
These tanks can safely hold liquids with a density (specific gravity) of up to 1.35, which is higher than water and many chemicals.
Sizes to Fit Your Needs
Available in capacities ranging from 30m³ to 100m³, Camplas GRP tanks can handle large quantities of chemicals while taking up minimal space.
Tested for Proven Performance
Camplas tanks have been tested after 20 years of continuous use and continue to meet their original design standards (designed in accordance with the original British Standards BS4994). That means you can trust them to perform day in and day out, year after year.
Design and Accessibility
- Translucent Form: Eliminates the need for painting and allows easy measurement and inspection of contents.
- Access Features: Each tank includes a bolted side manway for internal access, ensuring compliance with inspection regulations.
- Flange Connection: Equipped with an 80 PN16 (3″) flange for a tanker connection valve, serving as both the inlet and outlet.
Compliance and Reliability
-
Standards: Designed in accordance with BS4994-1987 with a minimum factor of safety of 8/1, reflecting adherence to stringent safety and quality standards.
-
Proven Performance: With over 13,000 SuperTanks® in service worldwide, some for over 50 years, these tanks have demonstrated long-term reliability and performance.
Delivery
All our Camplas tanks are for delivery by customer offload. This entails the customer to acquire the right manpower and/or machinery to help unload the tank/s from the delivery vehicle.
If you require assistance with offloading, we may be able to offer a tail lift (lowers the tank to the ground) or HIAB (lorry with a mounted crane to winch the tank off the delivery vehicle). Please contact us if this is required for delivery.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.
