No. There is no surcharge on any payment method, including American Express and credit cards. The total at checkout is the total you pay.
Prices are shown excluding VAT by default, because most of our customers are trade and reclaim it. There's a toggle on every product page to switch to VAT-inclusive pricing, and VAT at 20% is added at checkout for UK orders.
The eligibility check for interest-free Pay in 3 plans is a soft search, which doesn't affect your score. Longer instalment terms that carry interest may involve a hard search — the provider tells you before you commit. Missing payments can affect your ability to use these services in future.
Instalment providers set their own upper limits, and a large order may fall outside them. If your basket is over about £2,000 and you need terms, a trade account or a bank transfer is usually the better route. Call us and we'll sort the sensible option.
At order. Card, wallet and PayPal payments are captured when you place the order, which is what triggers the picking and booking process. Bank transfer orders are held until funds clear.
Not through the website. Deposit and balance arrangements are handled on trade accounts or by phone for bespoke and made-to-order tanks — talk to us before you place the order.
Most applications are reviewed within two working days. You can carry on ordering by card in the meantime, and we'll switch you over once the account is open.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Card and wallet refunds typically show within 3–5 working days. Instalment plans are cancelled or adjusted by the provider, and any payments already taken are returned. Bank transfers are refunded to the originating account.
Pay in 3 and instalment options are provided by third parties and are subject to status, eligibility and their own terms. Interest-free plans carry no interest and no fees when payments are made on schedule. Missed payments may affect your ability to use these services in future, and longer instalment terms may carry interest — the rate and total repayable are shown by the provider before you confirm.
