White De-Icing Salt - Large 25kg packs
Our White de-icing salt is supplied in durable 25kg bags, providing a clean, efficient solution for winter ice control.
Each bag is securely sealed and pre-weighed, making it far easier to handle than loose bulk bags.
The salt can be applied straight from the bag or transferred into a spreader, making it suitable for covering large outdoor areas quickly and effectively.

White de-icing salt is produced from salt water and is composed of near-pure sodium chloride, ensuring a highly effective melting action.
Unlike brown salt, it contains no natural clay, meaning it leaves minimal residue once applied.
This makes it particularly suitable for use in car parks, pedestrian areas, and around buildings where cleanliness is important.

Delivery is carried out by professional hauliers and includes kerb side or front-of-premises drop-off using a tail lift vehicle and pallet truck.

Please ensure the product you are ordering is the correct size and suitable for the purpose. Special order, bespoke and non-stock tanks are not returnable. If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

All our tanks are available for collection ex works. Our suppliers are based all over the UK — please call if you wish to collect.
Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
