WaterStop Leak Safety Prevention Device
This device almost immediately shuts off the water supply in the case of a break in the water pipe. Preventing unnecessary water consumption. Depending on a preset time (from 15 minutes up to 2 hours), the water supply will be cut off in the case of a leak in the water pipe or uninterrupted water consumption. The device's operation is based on a difference in pressure.
It works by monitoring excessive flow rates and unexpected flow over time. If the device registers a big difference in pressure (fracture) the water supply is cut off almost at once. At normal water consumption (smaller pressure difference), the time mechanism will be activated which cuts off the water supply after the pre-set time. After turning the leaking tap off, the device will reset/reopen after a few seconds (if the device is in automatic mode). After a small amount of water has been tapped off, the time mechanism will be reset, and a new complete preset time will be available. The device is made of a synthetic material manufactured under high pressure. All materials used comply with the national and international standards for drinking-water quality. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
