Do you require commissioning?

Low Cost Commissioning

Benefits:

  • Reassurance that your system's mechanical and electrical components are in good working order

To find out more about what's included in the Commissioning of your Kingspan Klargester pump station, or to arrange Commissioning, please click here for more information

  • Unit is installed flat and level with safe working area around the perimeter
  • All incoming and outgoing pipework has been connected
  • Permanent electrical supply has been fitted to the panel (extension leads or generator supplies will not be acceptable)
  • The following will then be carried out by an Authorised Service Engineer:
  • Check the system is installed to manufacturer's instruction
  • Fit floats in tank and set the levels
  • Pull float and pump cables through the ducts using drawstring provided
  • Connect pump and float cables to the control panel using appropriate glands (the panel must be within 2 m of the chamber or select “enhanced commissioning”)
  • Check float cable operation and terminate (stop, start, standby, alarm)
  • Check pump rotation
  • Run the pumps via the float switches to ensure correct operation and discharge
  • Test high level alarm and beacon (if applicable)
  • Leave on Auto for future use

Please note, Kingspan Commissioning covers UK mainland and certain postcode areas only. Please speak to our Team for expert advice on commissioning.

Service and maintenance

Your pump station should be serviced bi-annually to prevent blockages or obstructions in the inlet or outlet pipes from occurring. Any service and maintenance works need to be carried out by a properly trained professional, with appropriate experience, especially with mechanical and electrical parts. For more information on service and maintenance plans, please give our team a call on 0808 167 6376.

Important — please read

Please ensure the product you are ordering is the correct size and suitable for the purpose. Special order, bespoke and non-stock tanks are not returnable. If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Our cancellation & returns policy explains this in more detail — see Terms & Conditions.

Overseas orders

International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.

A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.

If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
