Klargester Forecourt Separator - 10,000 Litres
The Klargester forecourt separator is a high-performance, full retention separator engineered specially for use in areas at risk of hydrocarbon contamination, such as petrol station forecourts, vehicle workshops, commercial yards, and industrial estates. Manufactured in the UK by Kingspan Klargester, a leading name in environmental compliance solutions, this system is designed to intercept and retail oil, fuel and silt-laden surface water before it enters the surface drainage system.
Built to comply with the most stringent UK regulations, including the Environment Agency's PPG3 guidelines and BS EN 858–1 standards, the FS010 ensures your site meets pollution prevention obligations while delivering ease of maintenance and dependable performance.
Operation ensures that the flow cannot exit the unit without first passing through the coalescer assembly. In normal operation, the forecourt separator has sufficient capacity to provide storage for separated pollutants within the main chamber, but is also able to contact up to 7,600 Litres of pollutant arising from the spillage of a fuel delivery tanker compartment on the petrol forecourt. The separator has been designed to ensure that oil cannot exit the separator in the event of a major spillage, subsequently the separator should be emptied immediately.
Key Benefits
