IBC Immersion Heater 0-90°C

Direct-Contact heating for efficient temperature control.

A powerful and precision-engineered solution designed to heat liquids stored in intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) quickly and effectively. By immersing directly into the liquid, this heater delivers fast heat transfer, reduces viscosity, and ensures consistent temperatures across a wide range of industrial applications.

Ideal for industries where fluid temperature is critical - such as food production, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals - the IBC immersion heater offers high-performance heating in a compact, easy-to-install format.

How It Works

Insert directly through the top port of an IBC. Once immersed in the liquid, the heating element rapidly warms the surrounding fluid through direct contact, allowing for faster and more consistent heat distribution than external heaters. The heater can be controlled via a built-in or external thermostat, providing precise temperature regulation throughout the heating process.

For optimal performance and energy savings, use in conjunction with an IBC insulated jacket or cover to reduce heat loss.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is it compatible with all IBC?

It fits most standard 1000L IBCs with an open-top or access port. Ensure the container is rated for internal immersion heating.

Is it safe to use with flammable materials?

No. The standard IBC immersion heater is not ATEX-rated. For flammable or explosive materials, contact us for a certified alternative.

How do i control the temperature?

The unit includes a built-in thermostat or can be paired with an external temperature controller for precise regulation.

Can i leave it in the container when not heating?

It's best to remove and clean the unit between uses to prevent buildup or corrosion, depending on the fluid.

Does it require regular maintenance?

Minimal maintenance is needed. Regularly inspect the sheath for scale or residue, especially when used with viscous materials.

Overseas orders

International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.

A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.

If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.
