Hotline 50m Gated Poultry Netting Kit
Electric poultry netting is an ideal solution for protecting a small amount of birds being held in a more domestic (small scale setting). This kit can be relocated and easily stored away, when the kit is assembled the visual impact on the surrounding area is minimal. The net is mounted on the 9 strong PVC posts (included in the kit). These kits are extremely conductive and are manufactured from polyurethane with metal filaments running through the horizontal strands (apart from the bottom baseline).
To 'charge' the net, an energiser is connected to the assembled system and to the ground via an earth stake - which forms an open circuit. When an animal encounters the net and ground, it completes the circuit and gets a shock. The energiser produces a high voltage pulse approximately once every second.
Foxes (being the main predator that is likely to encounter the fence) will investigate unfamiliar additions to their environment and when curiosity gets the better of them, and they touch the fence, a shock is delivered. Although the net is not of a great height compared to the abilities of the fox e.t.c, once the animal has been shocked the net will be a sufficient psychological barrier that the animal would be unlikely to come back and try again.
The kit includes:
- 1 x 47HLC80 Gemini 80 dual-input energiser (battery or mains)
- 1 x 25m green poultry net
- 1 x Hot Gate system
- 4 x Double-spike corner posts
- 1 x LED fence tester
- 1 x 1m earth stake
- Ground skewers, pegs, corner guys and repair kit.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.
