Product Overview
The 85 Litre Flat Water Tank is a compact, durable and versatile solution for the storage and transportation of potable water and a wide range of other compatible liquids.
Manufactured from high-quality MDPE / polyethylene, this low-profile tank provides a nominal capacity of 85 litres, equivalent to approximately 19 imperial gallons. Its flat rectangular design makes it particularly useful where available installation height is limited or where a compact water storage solution is required.
The tank is manufactured in a natural translucent medium-density polyethylene, allowing the approximate water level to be viewed through the tank wall. This provides a convenient way to monitor the contents without needing to remove the lid.
With dimensions of approximately 500 × 600 × 310 mm and an empty weight of approximately 7 kg, the tank is relatively lightweight and easy to position before filling. It is suitable for above-ground applications and can be used in a wide variety of domestic, commercial, agricultural and mobile water storage systems.
The standard configuration includes a 3/4" BSP outlet and 5" lid, while optional BSP outlets and alternative outlet positioning are available at additional cost.

Compact Flat Design
The 85 Litre Flat Water Tank has been designed to provide useful water storage capacity while maintaining a relatively low overall height.
At approximately 310 mm high, the tank can be particularly useful where vertical space is restricted or where a low-profile tank is preferred. Its 500 × 600 mm footprint provides a practical storage solution without requiring the height of an upright tank.

If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
