Product Overview
The 530 Litre Non-Baffled Water Tank is a robust and practical solution for the storage of potable water and other compatible liquids where a high-capacity, low-profile tank is required.
Manufactured from durable HDPE / medium-density polyethylene, this flat rectangular tank provides a substantial 530 litre nominal capacity, equivalent to approximately 117 imperial gallons, while maintaining a relatively compact overall height.
Unlike baffled water tanks, this model has a non-baffled internal design, making it particularly suitable for static or above-ground water storage applications where internal liquid movement is not a primary concern.
The tank is supplied with a large 16" lid and two 3/4" BSP female outlets, providing convenient access for filling, inspection, cleaning and connection to compatible taps, hoses, pumps and other equipment.
The natural version features a semi-translucent finish, allowing the water level to be viewed through the tank. Coloured options are also available for applications where a specific appearance or colour is preferred.
With an empty weight of approximately 32 kg, the tank provides a useful combination of high storage capacity, durability and manageable handling before filling.

Low-Profile & High-Capacity Design
With dimensions of approximately 925 × 1165 × 540 mm, the 530 Litre Non-Baffled Water Tank provides a substantial water storage capacity while maintaining a relatively low overall height.
The flat rectangular configuration makes efficient use of available floor space and can be particularly useful for commercial premises, agricultural applications, industrial installations, workshops and general above-ground water storage.
At approximately 32 kg when empty, the tank can be positioned before filling using suitable manual or mechanical handling methods.
Once full, the tank will contain approximately 530 kg of water, in addition to the weight of the tank and any installed fittings. The supporting surface must therefore be capable of safely carrying the total filled load.
The low-profile design can also be advantageous where vertical clearance is restricted.
Non-Baffled Tank Design
This model is specifically designed as a non-baffled water tank, meaning the interior does not incorporate the internal baffles found in Tanks Direct's baffled water tanks.
The absence of baffles provides an unrestricted internal volume and can be useful for applications where straightforward water storage is the primary requirement.
However, because the tank is non-baffled, it is not designed to provide the same reduction in liquid movement as a baffled tank during transportation.
Water tanks can be extremely hazardous when transporting large volumes of liquids. Please make sure that they are installed and secured by a suitable qualified person before transportation.
For vehicle or trailer-based applications where the tank will be transported while partially or fully filled, a suitable baffled tank should generally be considered instead.
If this tank is used in any mobile application, it must be appropriately secured and the installation must account for the movement and weight of the stored liquid.

However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
