Strong Galvanised Steel Construction
The tank features a robust corrugated galvanised steel structure designed to cope with the considerable forces involved in storing large quantities of water.
The steel panels are approved to BS2989:1982 and galvanised using lead-free zinc to 275g/m² in accordance with EN10142.
The tank also incorporates a minimum 40% structural safety margin. This relates to the structural strength of the tank and does not mean that it can be filled beyond its stated 500,000 litre capacity.
Heavy-Duty EPDM Tank Liner
Water is contained within a flexible Greenseal EPDM liner, providing a durable barrier between the stored water and the steel tank structure.
EPDM provides excellent resistance to UV exposure, abrasion and cutting, making it particularly well suited to large outdoor water storage installations.
The combination of a strong galvanised steel structure and durable liner creates a versatile water storage system suitable for a wide variety of commercial and agricultural environments.
Supplied in Kit Form for Easier Transportation
Despite its substantial finished capacity, the tank is supplied in kit form, making transportation to site considerably more practical than transporting a fully assembled tank of a comparable size.
A photographic construction guide is provided to assist with assembly. The modular design allows the tank to be constructed on site, making it a practical option for large-scale installations.
Correct site preparation and installation requirements should always be followed before assembling and filling the tank.

Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

All our tanks are available for collection ex works. Our suppliers are based all over the UK — please call if you wish to collect.
Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
