Heavy-Duty Coated Steel Construction
When storing half a million litres of water, strength and structural integrity are essential.
This tank uses corrugated galvanised steel panels to create a robust supporting structure capable of meeting the demands of extremely high-volume water storage. The galvanised steel is complemented by a coated exterior, giving the tank a smart matt black appearance.

40% Structural Safety Margin
The tank is designed with a minimum 40% structural safety margin, providing additional strength within its overall construction.
This safety margin relates to the structural capability of the tank rather than additional usable storage. The tank should not be filled beyond its specified maximum water capacity.
Durable Greenseal EPDM Liner
Water is contained within an internal Greenseal EPDM liner, creating a flexible watertight barrier inside the coated steel structure.
EPDM offers excellent UV, abrasion and cut-through resistance while remaining highly flexible, making it particularly well suited to large outdoor water storage installations.

Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
