400,000 Litre Galvanised Steel Water Tank
The 400,000 litre galvanised steel water tank provides a robust and practical solution for sites requiring substantial above-ground water storage.
Designed for demanding agricultural, horticultural and commercial applications, its large capacity makes it an excellent choice where significant quantities of water need to be collected, stored or managed in one location.
The galvanised steel construction combines strength and durability with a versatile design suitable for a wide variety of large-scale water storage projects.
Key Features

Strong Galvanised Steel Construction
Built for applications where strength and capacity are essential, this tank uses a galvanised steel structure to create a durable external shell.
The corrugated construction provides the structural strength required when storing a substantial volume of water, while galvanisation helps protect the steel and makes the tank well suited to long-term outdoor applications.
Ideal for Agricultural Water Storage
A dependable supply of stored water can be particularly important for farms, horticultural businesses and other agricultural operations.
The 400,000 litre capacity provides significant storage potential for applications such as irrigation, rainwater collection and general water management.
For sites with fluctuating water requirements, large-capacity storage can also provide greater flexibility over how collected or supplied water is managed.
Suitable for Rainwater Harvesting
This galvanised steel tank can form part of a large-scale rainwater harvesting system, allowing substantial quantities of collected rainwater to be retained for future use.
Rainwater harvesting can be particularly useful on agricultural and commercial sites with large roof areas or other suitable collection surfaces, where harvested water may be reused for appropriate non-mains-water applications.
Kit-Form Design for Large-Capacity Storage
Large steel water tanks use a sectional design that enables the tank to be transported to site before being constructed in its final installation location.
This provides a practical approach to achieving very high storage capacities without needing to transport a fully assembled tank of an equivalent size.
Correct site preparation and installation requirements should always be considered before construction and filling.
Designed for Large-Scale Water Storage
With a 400,000 litre capacity, this tank is ideally suited to sites with considerable water storage and water management requirements.
Potential applications include:
- Agricultural water storage
- Rainwater harvesting
- Water recycling
- Crop irrigation
- Horticultural irrigation
- Nurseries and garden centres
- Sports ground irrigation
- Commercial water storage
- Aquaculture
- Dust suppression
- Grey water storage
- Water attenuation
Its substantial capacity can help consolidate water storage into a single large system rather than relying on numerous smaller tanks.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.
