Fully Bunded for Additional Protection
The DESO V2455BT uses a tank-within-a-tank construction to provide an additional level of protection for your stored heating oil.
The inner tank acts as the primary fuel storage vessel, while the surrounding outer tank forms the bund. In the event of a leak from the inner tank, the outer bund is designed to contain the escaped fuel and help reduce the risk of environmental contamination.
This makes the V2455BT an excellent choice for customers looking for a secure, modern alternative to a traditional single skin oil tank.
Durable Polyethylene Construction
Manufactured from high-grade polyethylene, the DESO V2455BT is built to withstand the requirements of long-term outdoor fuel storage.
The tank is corrosion resistant, offers high impact strength and incorporates UV stabilisation to help protect the material from prolonged exposure to outdoor conditions.
Unlike traditional steel storage tanks, the polyethylene tank body will not rust, helping provide a durable and low-maintenance solution for heating oil storage.
Delivery
The tank is delivered using a suitable delivery vehicle and standard tank deliveries are kerbside, meaning the tank is delivered to the kerb and is not positioned further on site.
We recommend not to book any installation or machinery until the tank has been delivered. We will not be responsible for any additional cost occurred with delayed deliveries.

If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
