2250 Litre Bunded Heating Oil Tank
The FTS2250BT 2250 Litre Bunded Oil Tank is a robust and cost-effective solution for storing heating oil and compatible fuels across domestic, agricultural and commercial applications.
With a nominal capacity of 2250 litres, approximately 495 gallons, this tank provides substantial on-site fuel storage while maintaining a practical footprint. It is an excellent choice for larger properties, farms, workshops and businesses that require more storage capacity than a standard domestic oil tank.
Manufactured in the UK from high-grade polyethylene, the FTS2250BT is corrosion resistant, impact resistant and UV stabilised for long-term outdoor use. Its fully bunded construction provides secondary containment around the inner storage tank, helping protect against leaks and accidental fuel loss.
Supplied with essential fittings including inspection access, ventilation, a 1" BSP bottom outlet and secure lockable access, the FTS2250BT provides a straightforward and dependable solution for long-term fuel storage.

Fully Bunded Construction
The FTS2250BT features a tank-within-a-tank design, providing additional protection for both the stored fuel and surrounding environment.
Fuel is held within the primary inner tank, while the outer tank forms a secondary containment area. In the event of a leak from the inner tank, the surrounding bund is designed to retain the escaped fuel.
This provides an important additional layer of security compared with traditional single skin storage tanks.
Durable Polyethylene Construction
The FTS2250BT is manufactured from high-grade polyethylene to provide a durable and dependable fuel storage solution.
Its polyethylene construction offers excellent resistance to corrosion and high impact strength, while UV stabilisation helps protect the tank from prolonged exposure to outdoor conditions.
Unlike traditional steel tanks, the polyethylene body will not rust, helping keep ongoing maintenance requirements to a minimum.
Secure Lockable Access
The FTS2250BT incorporates a lockable manhole cover to help protect the tank and its important fittings.
Lockable access helps discourage unauthorised interference with the fuel storage system while keeping inspection and maintenance points conveniently accessible when required.
This provides additional reassurance, particularly for tanks installed at farms, commercial premises or other accessible locations.
Cost-Effective Bulk Fuel Storage
The FTS range is designed to provide dependable bunded fuel storage at a competitive price.
For customers who require a larger capacity without unnecessary additional equipment, the FTS2250BT provides a straightforward combination of robust construction, essential fittings and generous storage capacity.
This makes it an attractive choice for both replacement tank installations and completely new fuel storage systems.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.
