200,000 Litre Galvanised Steel Water Tank
This 200,000 litre galvanised steel water tank provides a substantial above-ground storage solution for agricultural, horticultural and commercial applications.
Designed for projects where large quantities of water need to be collected or stored, the tank combines a strong corrugated galvanised steel structure with a durable internal EPDM liner. Its sectional construction also means it can be supplied in kit form and assembled at its final location, providing a practical approach to high-capacity water storage.

Robust Galvanised Steel Construction
The tank uses corrugated galvanised steel panels to create the structural strength required to support a substantial volume of stored water.
The steel is approved to BS2989:1982 and galvanised using lead-free zinc to 275g/m² in accordance with EN10142.
This combination of corrugated construction and galvanised protection makes the tank particularly well suited to demanding outdoor environments where durability and dependable water storage are important.
40% Structural Safety Margin
This tank incorporates a minimum 40% structural safety margin within its design, providing additional structural strength when storing large quantities of water.
This figure relates specifically to the structural strength of the tank. It does not mean the tank can hold an additional 40% of water, and the stated maximum storage capacity should not be exceeded.
Durable Greenseal EPDM Liner
Inside the galvanised steel structure is a flexible Greenseal EPDM liner, which provides the watertight layer required to contain the stored water.
The 1.00mm EPDM material offers excellent resistance to UV exposure, abrasion and cutting, making it particularly suitable for large-scale outdoor water storage applications.
Combining the flexible liner with a strong external steel structure provides a robust and practical system for long-term bulk water storage.
Large-Scale Rainwater Harvesting
For commercial and agricultural sites with substantial roof or collection areas, this tank can form part of a large-scale rainwater harvesting system.
Its 200,000 litre capacity allows significant quantities of collected rainwater to be retained for future use, making it particularly useful for sites with high water demands.
Harvested water can then be utilised in suitable applications such as irrigation, landscaping, water management and other non-potable uses.
Agricultural and Horticultural Water Storage
Farms, nurseries and horticultural businesses can experience considerable fluctuations in water demand throughout the year, particularly during periods of intensive irrigation.
This 200,000 litre tank provides substantial storage capacity for applications where maintaining a large reserve of water is important.
It can be incorporated into new or existing irrigation systems and provides a practical option for businesses looking to increase their available water storage.
Supplied in Kit Form
Transporting a fully assembled tank of this capacity would be impractical for many locations. The sectional steel construction allows the tank to be supplied in kit form before being assembled in its final installation position.
This makes delivery and site access considerably more manageable while allowing a very large volume of water storage to be created on site.
A photographic instruction manual is supplied to assist with assembly. Appropriate site preparation and installation requirements should always be followed before the tank is constructed and filled.
Suitable for a Wide Range of Applications
With an impressive 200,000 litre capacity, this tank can be used across a variety of agricultural, horticultural and commercial water management applications.
Typical uses include:
- Agricultural water storage
- Rainwater harvesting
- Water recycling
- Crop irrigation
- Horticultural irrigation
- Nurseries and garden centres
- Sports pitch irrigation
- Aquaculture
- Dust suppression systems
- Grey water storage
- Water attenuation
- Emergency water storage
