The DESO H1800BT 1800 Litre Bunded Oil Tank is a durable, high-capacity fuel storage solution designed for domestic, commercial and agricultural applications.
With a capacity of 1800 litres, approximately 396 gallons, the H1800BT provides substantial fuel storage in a practical horizontal design. Its shape makes it an excellent choice for installations where a lower tank profile is preferred over a tall vertical tank.
Manufactured in the UK from high-grade polyethylene, the H1800BT is corrosion resistant, impact resistant and UV stabilised for long-term outdoor use. Its fully bunded construction provides secondary containment around the inner fuel tank, offering additional protection against leaks and accidental fuel loss.
Supplied with essential fittings including an overfill prevention valve, inspection access, vent, bottom outlet and lockable access cover, the DESO H1800BT provides a dependable all-round solution for secure fuel storage.

Fully Bunded for Additional Protection
The DESO H1800BT features a tank-within-a-tank construction, providing secondary containment around the primary fuel storage vessel.
Fuel is stored within the inner tank, while the surrounding outer tank forms the protective bund. Should a leak occur from the inner tank, the bund is designed to contain the escaped fuel and help prevent it from reaching the surrounding environment.
The fully bunded design provides additional reassurance and makes the H1800BT an excellent replacement for older single skin or traditional steel oil tanks.
Secure Lockable Access
A lockable outer bund lid protects the H1800BT's filling, monitoring and inspection points.
The integrated locking system helps prevent unauthorised interference with the tank while keeping the important components easily accessible when filling or servicing is required.
Delivery Information
Standard tank deliveries are kerbside, meaning the tank is delivered to the kerb and is not positioned further on site.
We recommend not to book any installation or machinery until the tank has been delivered. We will not be responsible for any additional cost occurred with delayed deliveries.
Failed deliveries may result in additional charges.

Please ensure the product you are ordering is the correct size and suitable for the purpose. Special order, bespoke and non-stock tanks are not returnable. If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

All our tanks are available for collection ex works. Our suppliers are based all over the UK — please call if you wish to collect.
Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
