Durable Galvanised Steel Construction
The tank is manufactured using corrugated steel panels designed to provide the structural strength required for bulk water storage.
The steel is approved to BS2989:1982 and galvanised with lead-free zinc to 275g/m² in accordance with EN10142. The galvanised exterior also provides corrosion protection, making this type of tank well suited to demanding outdoor applications.
40% Structural Safety Margin
This tank incorporates a minimum 40% structural safety margin, providing additional strength within its overall design.
It is important to note that this figure relates to the structural strength of the tank and does not increase its usable water storage capacity. The tank should never be filled beyond its stated maximum volume.
Greenseal EPDM Tank Liner
Water is contained using a flexible Greenseal EPDM liner. The listed 0.75mm liner material offers excellent resistance to cutting, abrasion and UV exposure, making it a robust solution for outdoor water storage applications.
The liner provides the watertight element of the system while the surrounding corrugated steel panels deliver the structural support.
Ideal for Rainwater Harvesting and Irrigation
For farms, nurseries, commercial premises and horticultural businesses, capturing and storing water can provide greater flexibility when managing irrigation requirements.
This tank can be incorporated into a rainwater harvesting or irrigation system, providing substantial water storage within a relatively compact circular footprint.
Supplied in Kit Form
The sectional construction means the tank can be supplied as a kit rather than transported to site as one large pre-assembled unit. This helps reduce transportation requirements and allows the tank to be constructed in its intended installation position.
A photographic installation guide is provided to support the assembly process. Correct site preparation and installation instructions should always be followed before filling the tank.
Suitable for a Wide Range of Applications
This galvanised steel tank provides a flexible solution for collecting, storing and managing water across numerous applications.
Typical uses include:
- Rainwater harvesting and water recycling
- Agricultural water storage
- Horticultural irrigation
- Nurseries and garden centres
- Sports pitch irrigation
- Aquaculture
- Dust suppression systems
- Grey water storage
- Water attenuation
- Emergency water storage
