1125 Ltr (250 Gallon) Drinking Water EU Highway Bowser
Industrial Water bowser for the transport and storage of drinking water. Road bowsers are primarily for high speed operation on the road full or empty at speeds up to 60MPH, they can be towed off road at slower speeds, they are fitted with either a 40mm ring eye or a 50mm ball coupling. Chassis Constructed from 80 x 80 R.S.A. fully welded with a 'T' frame drawbar, all fully hot dipped galvanised to B.S. standards. Axle/Suspension Avonride rubber torsion beam axle fitted with 200 x 50 auto reverse brakes. Wheels/Tyres 2 No. 175 x 13 8 ply commercial van tyres on 4 stud 5.1/2" PCD rims. Coupling Knott Avonride auto reverse coupling fitted with 50mm ball or 40mm eye, break away cable and parking brake lever.
Tank Polyethylene moulded tank, Elliptical in section, baffled and fitted with an 18" lockable outer hinged manlid cover, inner sealed vented manlid. Tank secured to chassis with 2 stainless steel straps. 1 rear tap fitted, various outlets, 2 rear and 2" drain. Ancillary Equipment Moulded mudguards, mud flaps, front telescopic jockey wheel, side reflectors, rear lighting board c/w 13 pin plug. Rear prop-stand options. Finish Poly tank in yellow, green, red or blue. Drinking water blue tank only. Galvanised chassis.

Delivery
All our Bowsers are for delivery by customer offload. This entails the customer to acquire the right manpower and/or machinery to help unload the tank/s from the delivery vehicle.
Delivery is made either by a Luton lorry or Artic Lorry. Please inform us at the point of order, if access is restrictive for delivery.
If you require assistance with offloading, we may be able to offer a tail lift (lowers the tank to the ground) or HIAB (lorry with a mounted crane to winch the tank off the delivery vehicle). Please contact us if this is required for delivery.

Please ensure the product you are ordering is the correct size and suitable for the purpose. Special order, bespoke and non-stock tanks are not returnable. If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
