Fully Bunded Construction
The FTS1225BT features a tank-within-a-tank design to provide greater protection when storing fuel.
The inner tank acts as the primary storage vessel, while the surrounding outer tank provides secondary containment. In the event of a leak from the inner tank, the outer bund is designed to contain the escaped fuel.
This provides an additional level of security and helps reduce the risk of fuel escaping into the surrounding environment.
Durable Polyethylene Construction
Manufactured from high-grade polyethylene, the FTS1225BT is designed to withstand the demands of long-term fuel storage.
The material is corrosion resistant and offers high impact strength, while UV stabilisation helps protect the tank during prolonged outdoor use.

Delivery
Standard tank deliveries are made on a kerbside basis, meaning the tank is delivered to the kerb and is not positioned further into the property.
For the FTS1000BT, Fuel Tank Shop states that its standard delivery service can lower the tank to ground level to assist with unloading. Alternative delivery arrangements, including HIAB delivery, may be available by request and can incur an additional charge.
Customers should ensure that suitable access is available for the delivery vehicle and that the intended installation location is prepared before delivery.

Please ensure the product you are ordering is the correct size and suitable for the purpose. Special order, bespoke and non-stock tanks are not returnable. If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
