Strong Galvanised Steel Construction
Designed to support a considerable volume of stored water, this tank features corrugated steel panels that provide a strong and durable external structure.
The steel is approved to BS2989:1982 and galvanised using lead-free zinc to 275g/m² in accordance with EN10142.
The galvanised finish helps protect the steel against corrosion, making the tank well suited to long-term outdoor water storage across agricultural and commercial sites.
40% Structural Safety Margin
The tank incorporates a minimum 40% structural safety margin within its design, providing additional structural strength for demanding water storage applications.
This safety margin relates to the strength of the tank structure and does not increase the usable water capacity. The tank should not be filled beyond its specified maximum volume.
Durable Greenseal EPDM Liner
Inside the galvanised steel structure, water is contained using a flexible Greenseal EPDM liner.
The 0.75mm liner material offers excellent resistance to UV exposure, abrasion and cutting, making it suitable for outdoor water storage installations.
By separating the water containment liner from the external steel structure, the tank combines a flexible watertight layer with the strength of corrugated steel panels.

Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

All our tanks are available for collection ex works. Our suppliers are based all over the UK — please call if you wish to collect.
Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
