The Tanks Direct Insulated Side Drum Heater is a practical, efficient solution for heating and temperature maintenance of materials stored in drums and cylindrical containers.
Designed particularly for plastic drums, the Tanks Direct Insulated Side Drum Heater combines a flexible insulated heating jacket with adjustable quick-release buckles and integrated temperature control. The heater wraps around the outside of the drum to transfer heat evenly and gently into the contents, helping to raise or maintain product temperature while reducing heat loss to the surrounding environment.
These heaters are especially useful where the viscosity of a stored material changes with temperature. Warming products such as oils, fats and foodstuffs can make them easier to pump, pour, process or dispense. The jackets can also be used to help prevent products from becoming excessively cold or freezing where the material and application permit.
The Tanks Direct Insulated Side Drum Heating Jacket range is available in five standard sizes, covering common drum dimensions and power requirements from 200W to 1,200W. Standard versions are available for 110v or 230v.
For applications requiring higher temperatures or more aggressive heating, we also offer the Tanks Direct High Temperature Side Drum Heater range. The Insulated side drum heating jacket is intended as a gentler, insulated heating solution, particularly for plastic vessels.
The drum jacket includes an easy-to-use digital controller, adjustable from 0°C to 90°C.
The jacket is made from durable, long-lasting, high-quality, lightweight materials, and the construction, combined with quick-release buckles, makes the jacket easy to attach to any standard-sized drum (105-120L).

Please ensure the product you are ordering is the correct size and suitable for the purpose. Special order, bespoke and non-stock tanks are not returnable. If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

All our tanks are available for collection ex works. Our suppliers are based all over the UK — please call if you wish to collect.
Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
