Strong Coated Steel Construction
The tank is manufactured using corrugated galvanised steel panels with an additional coated finish, creating a strong structure for storing substantial quantities of water.
The steel is approved to BS2989:1982 and galvanised using lead-free zinc to 275g/m² in accordance with EN10142.
The coated exterior provides an attractive finish while complementing the durable construction of the galvanised steel underneath.
40% Structural Safety Margin
Strength is particularly important when storing thousands of litres of water. This tank incorporates a minimum 40% structural safety margin within its design.
The safety margin relates to the structural strength of the tank and does not increase its usable storage capacity. The tank should not be filled beyond its stated maximum volume.
Greenseal EPDM Tank Liner
A flexible Greenseal EPDM liner is included within the tank to provide the watertight layer that contains the stored water.
The 0.75mm liner material provides excellent resistance to abrasion, cutting and UV exposure, making it well suited to demanding outdoor water storage applications.
By combining the liner with the surrounding coated steel structure, the tank benefits from a robust supporting shell and a flexible internal water containment system.
Ideal for Rainwater Harvesting and Irrigation

Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
