Product Overview
The 18 Litre Upright Water Tank is a compact and versatile solution for the storage and transportation of potable water and a wide range of other compatible liquids.
Manufactured from durable MDPE / polyethylene, this small upright rectangular tank provides a nominal capacity of 18 litres, equivalent to approximately 3.9 imperial gallons. Its compact dimensions make it particularly useful where space is limited or where only a relatively small quantity of water needs to be stored.
The tank is manufactured in natural translucent medium-density polyethylene, allowing the approximate water level to be viewed through the tank wall. This provides a convenient way to monitor the remaining contents without having to remove the lid.
With an empty weight of approximately 2 kg and dimensions of 180 × 440 × 260 mm, the tank is lightweight, easy to handle and suitable for a wide range of compact above-ground and mobile applications.
The tank is supplied with a 6" cap and can be configured with optional BSP outlets and outlet positioning to suit different installation requirements. Optional tap kits, hosetail kits, float valves and outlet plugs are also available.

If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

All our tanks are available for collection ex works. Our suppliers are based all over the UK — please call if you wish to collect.
Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
