The 100 Litre Conical Water Tank is a compact, robust and versatile solution for the storage and transportation of potable water and a wide range of other compatible liquids.
Manufactured from durable MDPE / polyethylene, this conical tank provides a practical 100 litre storage capacity in a compact footprint. Its conical base makes it particularly useful for applications where efficient drainage and easy emptying are important.
The tank is manufactured in a natural translucent finish as standard, allowing the level of water inside the tank to be viewed through the tank wall. This provides a convenient way to monitor the contents without having to remove the lid.
The conical design allows liquid to naturally collect towards the bottom outlet, helping to maximise drainage and minimise residual liquid within the tank. This makes the tank particularly suitable for applications involving water storage, agricultural use, dosing, processing and general-purpose liquid storage.
The tank features 1" BSP female outlets on both the side and bottom, providing flexibility when connecting taps, hoses, pumps or other equipment. Six M8 inserts are also incorporated around the middle of the tank for suitable mounting or installation requirements

Conical Design for Efficient Drainage
One of the key advantages of this tank is its conical base design.
Unlike a flat-bottomed tank, the sloping base directs liquid towards the lower outlet, helping the contents drain efficiently when the tank is emptied.
This design can be particularly beneficial where it is important to minimise residual liquid or make the tank easier to drain and clean.

The bottom outlet provides a direct drainage point at the lowest part of the tank, while the additional side outlet provides an alternative connection point for water distribution or associated equipment.
Potable Water Storage
The 100 Litre Conical Water Tank is specified as suitable for the storage and transportation of potable water, as well as a wide range of other compatible liquids.
The natural version is manufactured from translucent MDPE, allowing the water level to be seen through the tank.
This can be particularly useful for applications where the tank needs to be regularly checked and refilled.
Only liquids that are compatible with the tank material and selected fittings should be stored inside the tank.
For applications involving chemicals or liquids other than water, compatibility should be confirmed before use.
Mounting Inserts
The tank incorporates six M8 inserts positioned around the middle of the tank.
These inserts provide additional options for suitable mounting, securing or installation arrangements.
Where the tank is incorporated into a larger system, suitable fixings should be selected according to the installation requirements.
Any mounting system must take into account the weight of the tank when full, as well as the forces that may be generated by the stored liquid.

Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

All our tanks are available for collection ex works. Our suppliers are based all over the UK — please call if you wish to collect.
Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
