Quote this when ordering, as parts such as lids, risers and diffusers are often specific to a particular tank generation and won't necessarily fit an older or newer version. If you're unsure, a clear photo of the data plate alongside the tank's approximate age usually lets us match the part correctly.

Fitting a non-Kingspan part can compromise the seal or structural integrity of the tank, which matters for both performance and any warranty claim.

Air blowers and diffusers wear fastest, as they run continuously to aerate the tank, followed by control panels, alarm float switches and manway lids that can crack or perish with age and UV exposure. Filters and non-return valves also need periodic replacement as part of routine servicing. Keeping a spare blower or diffuser on hand reduces downtime if one fails unexpectedly.

Straightforward items like lids, risers and alarm units can usually be fitted by a competent homeowner or groundworker. However, anything involving the electrical control panel, blower wiring or work inside the tank chamber should be handled by a qualified engineer, both for safety and to keep any service warranty intact. If you're replacing a part on a system under a maintenance contract, check with your service provider first.

Common items such as lids, seals and standard risers are typically held in stock and dispatched quickly. More specialist components, particularly older or discontinued models, may need to be sourced directly from Kingspan and can take longer.
