    Product Description

Kingspan Klargester 9,150 Litre Shallow Dig Cesspool - Suitable for all domestic applications

A Klargester shallow dig cesspool provides a reliable solution for locations without mains drainage, where the discharge of treated effluent is not permissible due to unsuitable ground conditions, or where infrequent or seasonal use, such as a holiday home, would prevent the successful functioning, for example of a packaged sewage treatment plant.

    • Klargester cesspools provide quality and reliability as they are constructed from non-corrosive materials and are priced competitively.
    • Easy to install, with minimal on-site installation time
    • Each cesspool is tested to ensure it is watertight and is structurally sound.
    • For added safety, cesspools can be supplied with a lockable man cover.
    • High Level Alarm available
    • Constructed from non-corrosive materials

    Note:

    • Tanks have an inlet invert depth of 0.5m as standard.
      • Upon request, this may be extended up to 1.5m via neck GRP riser pieces.
    • Confirm with local building regulations if additional venting is required.
    • Concrete backfill is recommended for backfilling the unit
    • CPH028, 038, 048 & 057 are available with 160mm pipework.
    • CPH071 & 091 are available with Ø110mm pipework, although Ø160mm is recommended.

    Cesspools

Cylindrical cesspools are available with capacities from 2,800 to 79,000 litres. The cylindrical tank allows reduced depth excavation in comparison with the same size of spherical tank, offering considerable savings where ground conditions are difficult or where there is a high water table. Cesspools are designed for storage only, with their contents being emptied at regular intervals using tankers. High Level Alarms with audible and visual warnings are available for all tanks to enable level monitoring for optimum use.

When siting units, there are a number of factors to be considered. Systems should not be positioned closer than 7 metres to any dwelling and as far as possible from any watercourse, normally not less than 10 metres. Adequate access to tankers for emptying should also be taken into consideration

*This unit is supplied with 1 loose bolt on shaft of either 1 or 1.5 metre invert (specify with order). It must be fitted on site as part of the installation and can be trimmed to suit the exact size of invert
