Product Description

Leakmonitor Multi Zone programmable Water Leak Alarm Panel

Water Leak Detection, sensor based, multi zone alarm panel. The LeakMonitor addressable alarm system constantly monitors its sensors for signs of leaks before they become serious. The alarms are then displayed on the LCD display locating which sensor in which area has a potential problem. On detection of an alarm, a soft audible pulsing sounder is activated to alert personnel to its status. Internally 2 relays will energise, one is called alarm detected and the other is called new alarm. These are for onward signaling to a BMS or for shutting off valves, turning on pumps or telephone diallers etc.

The LeakMonitor alarm panel has a battery back up which kicks in when a power fault is detected. The battery will automatically power the panel for up to 8 hours. The battery is float charged internally and should be replaced every 3 years.

A maximum of 100 four zone outstations can be connected to one LeakMonitor alarm panel giving a multizone system capable of monitoring 400 different areas simultaneously.
Options: The optional different types of water leak detection sensors:

Sensor Tape
: Available in 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m and 10m lengths. Plug and socket connections mean any length can be made up by simply connecting the various cable lengths together. The tape is most commonly used sensor method and will be used whenever an area needs to be monitored for leaks. If water touches at any point along the length of the tape, the alarm will sound off. A typical example might be a tea point in an office where the alarm panel will be fixed to the wall, the connection cable routed down to underneath one end of the kitchen cupboards. At this point it will be terminated in a start of line junction box and the sensor tape plugged into this. The sensor tape is run under the pipe work under the cabinets and held in place by cable clips. At the end of the sensor tape there is a end of line connector that must be fitted and is used to monitor the connections and cables for faults.

Sensor Probe: Adjustable height from the floor between 0 and 25mm. Protective cover helps stop accidental damage. Multiple sensors can be linked in series to cover large areas.
The sensor probe would be used in situations where either only a single point is important (such as a bund) or where a sensor tape might get damaged by foot traffic or some other process. A number of probes can be looped together back to the Leakstopper panel

Sensor Pad: Ideal for placing in drip trays, under shower trays etc. Little bigger than a matchbox, this sensor can be linked together in series.
The sensor pad would be used in a drip tray that has been installed under an air conditioning system or under a run of pipework. A number of pads can be looped together back to the Leakstopper panel

Inline Tee Sensor: The tee sensor would be used to monitor for liquid in an overflow pipe to ensure that the levels do not exceed an amount that would cause concern. The tee sensor when connected to a water leak detection alarm can instruct a valve to switch off the water should liquid be present in the overflow.

The beacon/sounder: The Beacon/Sounder Alarm can be connected to any of our alarm panels or directly to a float switch. Should the master panel detect a leak or the float switch lift too high, the beacon will flash and the sounder sound. These panels simply plug straight into any of our alarm panels using a 4 core alarm cable. As soon as the master panel has an alarm triggered a signal is sent straight to the Beacon alarm illuminating the ultra bright beacon and sounding the 102dB sounder.

Summary oF Features:
Very bright LED beacon
102 dB sounder
No local power required as power is taken directly from the master panel. If used independently of our alarm panel, it can be supplied with a 230VAC or a 12 - 24VDC input (this would be the case when used with a float switch)
Beacon only option for areas where high noise levels are not desirable.
Automatically resets as soon as the master panel resets.
IP65 rated enclosure.
